Recognizing the distinct voice, Konata looked up to see no other but Ulqui. “Yeah but I can’t help it, lately more anime are being pushed later at night, plus there has been new ‘bonus content’ in this game that I’m playing too.” Konata explained, though not everyone understood her world.

Ulquiorra shook his head as he patted the top of hers. “I don’t think you’ll ever change, and that’s probably a good thing.” He chuckled, smiling his small smile at her.

“Thanks. . I think.” 

I don’t know if I should take that as a compliment or as an offense. “Why? Change is good, no?” Konata asked, her cat-like smile visible.

Konata had played her brains out last night. She was in the middle of studying for an exam, but was losing her concentration and decided to take a 30 minutes break but before she knew it. It was already 2am . . How come time flies when you are playing and doing other stuff, but when you are at school it feels like eternity?! She couldn’t stop playing though after finding a rare weapon, Oblivion. Konata had completely forgotten about her studies and homework.

The next morning, she arrived super tired to school. To the point she felt like she was going to faint from exhaustion. “I think I’m gonna die.”

“You constantly do this to yourself, don’t you?” Ulquiorra said, looking down at Konata. She looked like she’d seen Hell, fought through it, and survived somehow. Only just.

 After seeing the guy behind her, she turned her gaze up ahead and wonder what they were given. “Yeah, I know, right?” Konata said, even though the comment was more to himself than her. But she couldn’t help but agree. “If I don’t get some food, I’m gonna faint. Standing in line always make me tired. Man this blows.” Making a line was such a pain and tiring, especially if there’s nothing exciting at the end of it. Like a new release from a manga. Or making lines in Comicket. 

Tsubasa listened to Konata’s conversation with herself, and he thought she was still talking to him. He placed his hands inside of his pockets. “The feeling is mutual here.” He commented, as he tried to remember what he had for breakfast. As he remembered the sweet taste of toast and jam, his stomach growled slightly, which earned a groan from his mouth.

“Do you know what they are serving for lunch?” He asked as he looked around at the walls, hopping to find a menu on them. But no luck.  

Konata chuckled slightly when the new student stomach growled. “Someone’s is eager to eat~” She said grinning, but a few seconds later her own stomach growled.

Ignoring that, Konata answered his question. “No, not really. .” She looked around as well, trying to find the menu but no luck either. Konata then tapped the shoulder of the student standing in front of her, deciding to ask him instead what the menu was. “Excuse me, do you know what they are giving today?” The student turned around slight and said that they would have to choose between miso ramen / soy sauce ramen or rice and curry.

“Hmm, I see.” She continued to walk and soon both of them arrived at the cafeteria. Once Konata saw the line, her face dropped. “What a pain. .” She complained, the line was rather long at the moment. Might as well get in line before  it gets more longer. With that Konata made the line and looked behind her to see if the guy followed. 

Once they approached the cafeteria, Tsubasa gazed around the room, he didn’t even bother to look at the line. It was just the fact that he could see people sitting at tables, and they looked happy as they talked with the other people around the table, that made him happy. From the corner of his aqua eyes he noticed Konata walk towards the line, then he finally realized how long it was.

An irritated sigh escaped his lips, and he followed her to the end of the line. “Well this will be some wait.” He murmured more to himself, then the blue haired girl before him.

Konata looked up at him with her cat-like smile. “Sure, the cafeteria it just up ahead.” She said pointing towards the direction. “I’m heading there now, might as well follow me.”

With that she turned around and began to walk towards the cafeteria again. “Is this your first day?” Konata asked. 

Aqua eyes followed her finger as she pointed down the hallway. I was going the wrong way. He said to himself mentally in disappointment.“Ahh, thank you.” He said to her, and he began to follow her down the hallway. “Yep,” he mention as he placed his hands back inside of his sweater pockets.

Konata continue to walk through the hallways, wanting to reach the lunch room already. She was hungryy ~ Konata just hoped the line wasn’t too long. One of the reasons why she prefers to bring her own lunch. But she had forgotten to bring her lunch today though, since she was a bit in a hurry in the morning, not wanting to arrive late to classes. . but still did anyways. .

 

Konata sighed, she hope they were giving something good to eat too. She stopped suddenly after hearing a voice speak out to her and turned around to see who it was. “Hmm?”

The teenager stopped his tracks once he caught her attention. He looked down into her light colored eyes, and smiled slightly. “Uhm, I’m new here, and I forgot where the cafeteria is.” He stated before he asked the question that remained on his mind. “Can you show me to where the lunch line is?” 

Konata looked up at him with her cat-like smile. “Sure, the cafeteria it just up ahead.” She said pointing towards the direction. “I’m heading there now, might as well follow me.”

The teenager passed by the many crowds that passed were in groups. His aqua eyes caught onto the blue haired teenager that passed by him. He stopped for a second, and allowed his sight to catch onto her, and watched as she walked away. He was starting to question what grade she should be in. Whenever he passed her in the hallway, he noticed that she was shorter then most of the teenagers he had meet in the school. 

his is your change.He told himself, and turned around fully and followed the smaller female. “Excuse me,” he let out in Japanese as he got right beside her.
